What you'll do
Join us on beautiful Taboga Island!This magical place is the closest beach to Panama City.No need to drive 2 hours on the highway to find a beach. Isla Taboga is only 30 minutes away by ferry through the Panama Canal anchorage area. Your Taboga day pass includes everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing day on our beautiful island.We'll make sure everything is taken care of for you so you don't have to!
Itinerary
- 1Your day begins with pickup from your hotel 1 hour before the ferry departs.
- 2Please wait for the driver in the hotel lobby. If you are in residence, please call the office to coordinate transportation.
- 3Boarding is 15 minutes before the departure of the Ferry.
- 4Enjoy the 30-minute journey through the Panama Canal docking area with spectacular city views aboard a new 120-seater catamaran equipped with 2 bathrooms, licensed crew, music and indoor and outdoor seating.
- 5Upon arrival on Taboga Island, you will be greeted by bilingual tour guides, who will explain your day and guide you through your visit.
What's Included
Ground transportation by air-conditioned minibus, from Panama City (place of your stay) or from the Visit Panama Tour office (round trip).
Transportation to and from the island on the beautiful ferry.
Chairs and umbrellas on the beach
Diving equipment on request (snorkeling).
A one-hour historical walking tour with a bilingual guide, who will explain the fascinating history of our beautiful island to you from the time of pirates, WWII, etc. This tour also includes a visit to San Pedro Church, which is the second oldest church in Latin America and was built in 1524.
Full meal with dessert (prepared daily and variable) and your choice of one of the following 5 main course options; Fish fillet, whole fried fish, chicken breast, garlic prawns or garlic octopus. Vegan options available. Accompanied by a salad and your choice of fries, rice or patacones and a complimentary bottle of water, lemonade, soda or national beer.
