What you'll do
Other than beautiful nature, rich history and cultural heritage, one of the hidden treasures of Istria is in its cuisine. The traditional Istrian meals are filled with original taste and aromas that area created as a result of combining specific climates, countries and old recipes. Of course, the tradition of cooking is transferred from generation to generation, and now, all those that spend their vacation in Istria can become a part of this interesting culinary story. Of course, the participants of the course can take their prepared food with them. The cooking class will lead you into a homestead where you will enjoy the relaxing ambiance and get to learn some of the local recipes.
Itinerary
- 1Just after a 30 minutes scenic drive alongside the Slovenian Coast and its countryside, you will arrive to the destination of the cooking class. Firstly you will be met by the hosts, who will introduce you to the area, followed by a glass of local aperitivo you will be introduced to days program. The ingridients and the dishes prepared during the cooking class are varying due to the season. The chefs inspriation of the day is the main ingridient of the cooking class.
- 2You can book additionaly a transfer to the venue if staying on the Slovenian Coast. By the booking of the additional transfer, please let us know your address for the pick up.

While cooking and preparing the 4 dishes of the luncheon, you will interact with the hosts. A visit to the wine cellar is included as well as the tatsing of the localy produced wines. Once the lunch is ready, you will have all teh time needed to enjoy what you prepared.

After your belly is full and you have spent some very relaxig time, your culinary experiance will come to an end.
