What you’ll do

Whisky, history, and scenery: a truly Scottish combination and you experience all three in one day! First, visit the iconic Kelpies, a monument to horse-powered heritage across Scotland. Then, make a toast to the Highland scenery with a wee dram in a whisky distillery, journey through the breath-taking Sma’ Glen and explore one of Perthshire’s most beautiful woodland walks and waterfalls.
Itinerary

We depart Edinburgh in the morning and make our way to the majestic Kelpies, the world’s largest equine sculptures, dedicated to horse-powered heritage across Scotland.

We venture further into the Highlands, where you have the option to embark on an immersive tour of one of Scotland’s renowned whisky distilleries and sample the 'water of life’

Alternatively, head out to explore the charming market town of Crieff with its delightful local shops and cosy cafés. After passing through the stunning Sma’ Glen, a valley of ancient myths in the Scottish Lowlands, we explore The Hermitage forest in the heart of Perthshire to take a leisurely woodland walk amid captivating rivers and waterfalls.

Our return journey visits the charming village of Dunkeld, in Macbeth country, where a stunning cathedral sits beautifully by the banks of the River Tay. On our return to Edinburgh, we pass the iconic Forth Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, arriving back into the city in the early evening.

From 5 February 2024 we will be departing from 60 High Street, Edinburgh EH1 1TB. Please note that all tours departing before this date will depart from inside Edinburgh Bus Station, Gate J. There are 2 en (60 High Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 1TB)

Students must hold a valid ISIC/ISE/ITIC card.

Travel insurance is recommended

Please note that we cannot guarantee that people who have booked together will be seated together. We do ot allocate seats.

It is very important to return to the coach on time at itinerary stops. Your guide will display the time that the bus departson a clock that will be visible.

If you need organise to transport from your accommodation to our departure point please book it via the hotel concierge. We have had a lot of feedback from customers saying that Uber taxi’s are not showing up.

Meet 15 minutes prior to departure

The drop-off location is Waterloo Place in central Edinburgh

Please be advised that children under 5 years old may not take part in the tour, while anyone under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

There are no maximum age restrictions

Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark.

Cancellation of day tours: A full refund will begiven if the cancellatin is more than 24 hours prior to the tour departure. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to departure will incur a 100% fee.

As per government guidelines, the use of masks whilst on our tour coaches is no longer compulsory.

Should our staff or passengers wish to keep wearing masks whilst on the coach they can.

We will keep the hand sanitiser and enhanced cleaning procedures in place.
