What you’ll do

Breathe in the fresh air of the Montserrat mountain range during a 1 day walking and wine tour from Barcelona. The guided walk is organized for the morning, while the afternoon features a wine-tasting session at a winery near an impressive 10th-century castle. The full-day experience takes place within the Montserrat mountains, however the starting point is easily reached by train from Espanya Square in Barcelona. Lunch is also served at the castle, before which there is a visit to the Montserrat monastery.

Mountain Walk: Having met your guide, the morning involves a walk into the Montserrat Mountains. The route can be determined based on the fitness level of your group.

Montserrat Monastery: At midday, the tour visits the Montserrat Monastery where you are treated to a performance of the “Virolai”, a song that symbolises that of the Catalan country.

Authentic Lunch: Transport will be provided to a 10th Century Castle for a traditional local lunch.

On location in Montserrat, however, the meeting point is easily reachable by train from Espanya square, in Barcelona. Exact location to be advised following your booking confirmation.
Kindly arrive at the meeting point 10 to 15 minutes before your departure time.
