What you’ll do

Meet at Grasshopper Adventures Shop at 17:30 hours for a quick bike fitting and briefing. At 18:00 hours sharp it’s time to begin the ride, staying off the main roads as we pedal through small lane-ways, past ancient temples to see the heart and soul of Bangkok. Cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry and cycle to Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn. At night it’s spectacularly illuminated as there are few tourists. The next stop is the world-famous Pak Khlong Talat, the largest wholesale flower market in Thailand. The busiest time is at night when the market is full of colour and activity. Walk through here and enjoy some iconic street food. Next is Wat Pho. Whilst The Reclining Buddha is closed to visitors at night, the temple's grounds and illuminated spires are stunning. Pass the Grand Palace to Sanam Luang and through the back streets of Bangkok’s historic old city before we finish at the cycle shop.
