What you'll do

On our premium oyster tasting… This half-day tour will take you to the heart of Ston’s tradition: the second longest stone walls in the world, salt fields (still extracting salt in traditional way), oysters, and of course – perfectly clear blue Adriatic Sea. Beautiful sea that feeds us in so many ways. It provides us with food, work, life, energy, and something to admire. And we will get to know each one of them.
Itinerary
- 1We will pick you up at your location and take a 45-minute drive to Ston: a small town that presented the border of former Dubrovnik Republika. The walls will overwhelm you, for sure, so a quick walk through the town will confirm that you made the best decision coming there. You will have some free time to walk along the walls or just have a cup of coffee in calm, but mighty town.

Now, it is time to get on the wooden boat with oyster farmer and ride through the bay of Mali Ston till reaching the oyster beds. You will get to know all the details of oyster farming and taste some oysters directly from the sea, along with local wine that adds on an unforgettable taste. But this is only the beginning! When reaching the coastline again, we prepare for the oyster feast.

When reaching the coastline again, we prepare for the oyster feast. During the lunch you will try them in different culinary techniques and combined with different traditional sauces. It wouldn’t be the perfect oyster feast without the wine, so we will add that one as well. The rest is up to you: swimming on the way home, taking some fare-well walk through the town, taking a short glimpse of the salt fields or just returning directly to Dubrovnik.
