What you'll do
This is an excursion to the scenic and magnificent Zat valley from Marrakech, which despite its spectacular scenes and cultural richness, has not been discovered by mass tourism yet. Drive along the Tichka road until you reach the lush green valley of Oued Zat and the rural market of Tighadouine (Wednesday market). This is the meeting point for the inhabitants of the valley (once a week) to exchange their goods and produce. Our guide will walk us through the authentic village of Talataste to meet the locals and especially the artisans in order to discover the ancient local pottery which is the main income for this community. We will be met at the British Moroccan Society Educational Centre to learn about this project and meet with the children. We will then be invited to a local home for a typical Berber lunch. Our guide will take us for a walk through the village where finally we will reunite with our driver and head back to Marrakech
