Itinerary
- 1After meeting and getting acquainted with your English speaking guide inside the main entrance of the Central Market Hall, near the escalators going up, we will start our food and wine walk.
- 2We will start by visiting the Central Market Hall and four (or more) traditional tasting locations, partake of lunch, there will be tasting of 3 wines (including Tokaji aszú) and a Hungarian spirit, you will have plenty of tastings along the way , you will complete the tour with increased knowledge and memories to treasure forever.
- 3Important statements:
- 4This tour is available year-round (with the exception of Sundays and national holidays).
- 5Our group tours are always small groups, limited to a maximum of 8 guests.
- 6If you would prefer a private tour, please choose the "Private Tour" option when booking.
- 7Prepare yourself to traverse vast distances on foot during the course of this splendid tour!
- 8We endeavour to accommodate various dietary requirements and allergies, thus we kindly request that you inform us in advance so we can make necessary preparations for your utmost satisfaction.
- 9We need at least 2 participants in order to run this tour. In the event of cancellation, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
- 10Upon completion of your tour, you'll be able to purchase wine directly from the source. If you're interested, you can also inquire about the vineyard's shipping options.
What's not included
Although not compulsory, our team of tour guides would deeply appreciate gratuities and tips as a display of gratitude for the exceptional service they provide.
Pick up and drop off at your hotel is not included as we meet at a fixed location. Meet us just inside the main entrance of the Central Market Hall, near the escalators going up at 9:30 am or 11 am depending on your selection when booking.
Sadly, we have to notify you that our tour is not suitable or accessible to wheelchair users.
Regrettably, we must inform you that our tour is not recommended for individuals with heart conditions or bad back as the venues we visit present challenging terrains. We do not wish to risk the safety and well-being of our guests and suggest alternate activities for those who unfortunately cannot join us.
Meeting Points

Please ensure you are punctual and reach the meeting point/pick up point 10-15 minutes prior to the departure time.

- No matter what the weather, our tour runs rain or shine
- The tour includes food, drinks, and wine tastings as outlined in the itinerary
- Additional orders placed during the tour must be paid for by the individual who orders them. If unsure, the tour guide will be happy to assist
- Comfortable shoes are recommended as there is some walking involved during your tour
- If you're under the age of 18, unfortunately, you cannot consume alcohol. However, there are plenty of delicious non-alcoholic options available
- Your tour will be conducted in English
- The tour lasts approximately 4 hours starting at starting and the time selected when booking
