Out of 2000 sorts of wine known in the whole world, 500 originated in Georgia. Kakheti is the region where Georgians produced wine from VI millennia, and we are heading forward. 10:00 Pick up from the hotel Our guide will pick you up from the hotel at 10:00 and takes you to our company for the check-in procedure, then an unforgettable trip begins. 11:45 Gombori Pass Duration: 15 minutes Our first stop is the Gombori Mountain Range, a section of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. We stop there for 15 minutes and take some beautiful pictures. 12:45 Shumi Winery Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes Afterward, we tend to taste wine at Shumi, one of the leaders in high-quality Georgian wines. "SHUMI" produces almost all types of Georgian wine from the high-quality category list (analogous to Bordeaux wine AOC). 14:30 Lunch Duration: 1 hour We have lunch in a pleasant atmosphere to try many traditional Georgian dishes. 16:00 Kindzmarauli Corporation Duration: 1 hour and 10 minutes Corporation Kindzmarauli's history dates back to 1533. Kindzmarauli produced wine for the royal family, and it's the only winery in the whole country which was functioning during the Soviet Union and still is functioning. 17:30 Khareba Winery Duration: 1 hour Winery Khareba is the largest of Georgia's wine cellars. There are perfect storage conditions for wine, 7,7 km of tunnels, and galleries maintaining a constant temperature of 12-14 degrees 0C. The complex has an excellent museum in the tunnel you see during the tour.
