What you'll do

Make the most of your time in Rio in an 8-hour city tour to discover its most iconic attractions enjoying the company of a local guide and a small group of max 15 people. Following pick-ups at some hotels in the south and downtown of Rio, tourists are taken for a lively day filled with popular attractions. The itinerary contemplates Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, Maracanã Stadium, Selarón staircase, historical downtown, Sugar Loaf and Corcovado mountains along with the Christ the Redeemer and other sights. Discover the bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood, home to a collection of local boutiques and galleries.  Enjoy fast-track entry with the tickets and break for lunch at a nice all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant. (All Inclusive) The tour follows a set itinerary attracting people from all ages, backgrounds and nationalities seeking to discover the beauties of the marvelous city in the company of an expert guide escorting and providing tour explanations

    We are going to pass by several points of interest along the way, including Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, Maracanã Stadium (outside), and other sights.

    Ipanema beach inspired the composition of the famous song "Ipanema Girl”. Beautiful beach that deserves all the fame and admiration

    From the top of its 360m, Dona Marta Viewpoint offers one of the most incredible views of the city, guaranteeing the title of one of the most attended tourist spots in Rio de Janeiro. From there, it's possible to see the Sugar Loaf, the Christ the Redeemer, the Maracanã, the Guanabara Bay and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.

    We get through one of the largest urban forests in the world. The Tijuca National Park gathers many attractions, such as the Pico da Tijuca, Pico do Papagaio and Cascatinha Taunay.

    The preserved Forest is visited by locals and tourists for the practice of sports, strolls and walks. Birds, native plants and fruitful trees compose the flora and the fauna of the Forest of the Tijuca.

    Reaching the Christ, we'll take you with our tour vehicle from its base to nearly the summit. The very top is reached by climbing a flight of stairs to arrive at the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue. The view, from this vantage point, with the surrounding Tijuca National Forest spreading below and a circle of mountains closing the horizon at the very back of the Guanabara bay is truly spectacular. After some time to walk around and take photos, we make the way back down.

    One of the best views of the the Marvelous City. The area has been scenario for several television programs and movies like Hulk, Fast & Furious and Tropa de Elite.

    We then head towards to the bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood, home to a collection of local boutiques and galleries. The charming area of Santa Teresa also features many trendy bars and restaurants offering several options of snacks and dishes, not to mention its breathtaking views. Don’t miss out on it!

    Venue for the Carnaval, the largest spectacle in the world. The Sambadrome is the epicenter of samba during the Rio de Janeiro Carnival. Locals and tourists in the stadium watch as the top samba schools perform for the title along the avenue.

    The most important Brazilian football temple. It was stage for important football events like hosting the 1950 and 2014 football world-cup and the Olympic games of 2016.

    "All-you-can-eat” buffet restaurant (Stop for lunch that's included in the price).

    From Santa Teresa to Lapa, there is the famous Selaron steps, a stairway decorated with colorful tiles. Known for its energetic bohemian vibe, “Lapa” is the most buzzing area in town day and nighttime.

    Have you ever heard of the Lapa neighborhood? If not, it should! It's very easy to know that you've arrived in Lapa. There is a famous monument that is the official image of Lapa, the large white arches aqueduct postcard of Rio.

    We then drive through Rio’s downtown through some of the coolest touristic areas catching sights and culture.

    Known for sheltering the Sugarloaf Mountain and for the privileged view it offers to Guanabara Bay, Botafogo beach hides a little explored and pulsating alternative life with bars, restaurants and cultural centers.

    Calm beaches close to Flamengo landfilled park with largest manmade park of the world, fully planted with tropical vegetation.

    The Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro stands out among the buildings in the Center of the city. Its unique architecture catches the attention of everyone passing by and surprises those who visit it! Its appearance and history are unconventional and make it one of the most curious spots in the wonderful city!

    We will then go up the Sugarloaf Mountain.

    A series of two cable cars will take you to the top of Sugar Loaf. At the top, again some of the most breathtaking views of Rio, this time from a different vantage point than at Corcovado.

    After that, tourists may want to enjoy lunch at a very nice “all-you-can-eat buffet” steakhouse restaurant (not included).
