Marrakech / Essaouira (170km) - Breakfast and pick-up at your riad by air-conditioned bus to share with a group of international tourists heading to Essaouira. During your trip, stop at Ounagha for a visit to the argan oil cooperative. The Minibus will drop you off in front of Hôtel Le Médina (a representative of Riad will meet you for ease of location in the heart of the old Medina) Installation at the Riad and free afternoon. Marrakech / Ourika Atlas Mountain - • Discovery of the Atlas Mountains and the hinterland, a change of scenery guaranteed. • Visit a Berber family and discover the lifestyle of Berber villages. • Enjoy a hike to explore the Setti-Fatma waterfalls. • Enjoy the delicious Berber tagines in a restaurant by the river. • Visit to a women's cooperative producing Argan oil. • Visit the Berber weekly market: Souk Tnine-Ourika (market days: Monday and Friday). Day trip to the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech Your full-day Share excursion in the Ourika valley will start at 9:00 am after your breakfast at the Riad with a walk in the plains of Houz and will stop at the local argan oil cooperative to see how this oil is extracted and how quality cosmetic products are made. Thereafter, you will have the opportunity to visit a Berber family in their home and discover their way of life. Take advantage of the decor and have a small meal (tea and snack). Do not miss, take small souvenirs with you (ex: school supplies) to give to small children in the village. They will be a source of joy for them. From there, we will continue to Tnin Ourika, one of the largest weekly souks in the region, where all the villagers of the Ourika valley meet once a week to exchange and buy their goods. From there, we will follow the Ourika river along the Berber village of Setti-Fatma, For those who wish to explore the valley on foot, local hiking guides are available for the visit and accompany you to the discovery of superb waterfalls and vice versa. If you prefer a relaxing day, relax in one of the riverside cafes and enjoy the rest of the day listening to the sound of the stream, against the backdrop of the High Atlas. Local cafes are available for a light lunch and can accommodate all budgets. Return to Marrakech late in the afternoon where your day trip to the Ourika Valley will end with a return to your Riad or to Jamaa-Elfna Square. please note that you are not obliged to take your meal in the restaurant offered by the guide / driver.
