What you'll do
Only available from April 11th to 19th, the sakura season in Tohoku. It's that time of the season again! Cherry blossom trees will spring into full bloom, creating an ocean of pink and white. Go on an unforgettable adventure with a driver who can take you to hidden and secret cherry blossom spots! You can enjoy many different kinds of sakura with the historical sightseeing spots in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima. Especially Kasumigajo Castle Park and Kassenjo Weeping Sakura are well-known sakura spots in Japan. With this Sakura tour you will be able to enjoy the country side of Japan, escape the busy city life and enjoy the cherry blossom like a local without worrying about being packed with tourists. The Nihonmatsu area is located on the northern area of Japan, the cherry blossoms bloom later than Tokyo and Kyoto. Itinerary
- 1The tour starts at Nihonmatsu Station and you will visit 5 different cherry blossoms viewing spots by private vehicle.

Although it is called "Kasumigajo Castle", the official name is "Nihonmatsu Castle" The park is nationally designated historic site. Sakura Matsuri(Cherry blossoms festival) will be held from April 10th to May 6th.

Yamanakano Isaburou Sakura The root is stretched in one direction and the root circumference is 10.9 meters. It is named after Isaburo, who was an elegant person and playing a kite under a tree in the old days.

Also called Kassenba Weeping Sakura, you can see the contrast between yellow flowers and pink cherry blossoms. The weeping sakura looks like waterfalls.
