(Saturday noon, Sunday and Monday noon market will be closed so we will offer 2 more Pintxos instead). San Sebastian is a foodie`s paradise but if you want to find the tastiest food avoiding tourist traps, you need a local guide. Save time by heading straight to the places offering the most delicious local food and best wines. You’ll experience the sights and sounds of the city by foot. Eat enough samples and pintxos to fill you for the day (at least!) and learn about Basque culture and cuisine evolution. Earra! (Awesome!)

Itinerary

We will visit the famous Bretxa market to learn about the local produce and visit ham, olive and olive oil stalls.

We will taste a corn-fed Iberian ham, top chorizo, local cheese, olives, oil and the famous gilda.

In weekends we will have the Iberico ham and the amazing Gilda in a traditional bar.

To see the contrast between a traditional and modern gastronomic concepts, we will visit 4 Pintxo bars in the most famous gastronomic street of the city but also off the beaten path.

Get to know one of the most beautiful squares of our beloved Donostia and be amazed by the history reflected in the architecture and the numbers drawn on the balconies.

Let's walk the main street, which was the classiest street, theater, Casino and Basilica.

Let's stroll the historic street where you will get to know another part of our tradition and gastronomy and then you will taste a dessert that you will never forget.

We booked last minute as our previous reservations were cancelled, and I think this was a better choice! Our guide clearly loves food and San Sebastián — and taught us how to make the most of our stay.

Our tour guide, Arantxa, was incredible! Super knowledgable and passionate about the food and history of San Sebastián. We learnt a lot that definitely enriched the rest of our stay in San Sebastián. She also made an effort to accommodate all our dietary requirements.

A great opportunity to try the best of the local produce in the market and tour of the pinchos bars, good way to try before hitting the bars around the old town yourself. A small group of 5 on our tour meant that everyone had time to try the dishes without being rushed. And where requested the alcoholic drinks were substituted for local soft drink options.

We had the chance to have our guide, Arantxa, only for our group of 3. She was friendly, welcoming and funny, we felt like going out with a friend and it was nice to get to know her through the day. Every drink, every pintxos, everything that we tasted was amazing! The torrija was a delight! Arantxa definitely knows her food :-D It was a wonderful experience and one that we recommend to everyone.
