It’s time to escape bustling Dubai and enjoy the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere that desert offers. Take this adventurous sand safari and enjoy the thrilling dune-bashing experience. Extreme lovers will find this especially entertaining. Special 4x4 vehicles will dive into sand and then fly above the dunes, replacing the roller-coaster.

There are several spots to visit: Bidayer (or Big Red), a large red dune, which is very popular and welcomes adventure junkies all year round; Sweihan, the place requires more strength to go up but that doesn’t stop true travelers...

  • 3

Liwa desert, the largest desert in the Peninsula with the most extreme landscape, it’s a place where most festivals of dune bashing take place.

  • 4

Continue to Al Khayma camp and be welcomed with coffee and dates. Hear the stories and legends about the mysterious Arabian Desert as you ride a camel and enjoy an amazing comforting surreal sunset over the red sands as a contrast to the sharp lines of the metropolis. Return to the desert camp to be impressed with other traditional Arab activities and to get acquainted with a completely different way of life.

  • 5

Spend the evening time like a Bedouin, getting your hands painted with henna tattoos picturing folk ornaments. Try out some mouthwatering traditional local food and barbeque. Admire at the professional belly dance show under the stars. Gaze up above the clear sky and see myriads of stars undisturbed by any bright city lights looking down at you. See some familiar constellations and maybe discover a new one for yourself. Be transferred to your hotel to have a rest after the rigorous adventure you’ve just undertaken.
