What you'll do

See and learn the history of the main attractions of Fira, such as the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, the Monastery of Dominican Sisters, Megaro Gyzi, the Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Three bells of Fira Visit the “Gold” Street with interesting and beautiful handmade jewelry on display, and discover a leather sandal workshop as well as local art galleries. Grab handmade ice cream and walk a short section of the famous Santorinian donkey roads, which were frequently used by the locals to carry their goods and reach Fira’s cable car. Includes a thrilling round trip cable car ride Enjoy a 5-minute panoramic cable car ride from the top of the Caldera down to the picturesque old port. Pass through the Venetian district surrounded by numerous churches overlooking the Caldera, walk by its edge and reach one of the most famous and photographed blue dome churches of Santorini, located in Firostefani. At the end of the tour, discover a wine restaurant located in the heart of Fira, which offers a unique wine cellar with renowned as well as rare local wines and other alcoholic beverages, collected from all over the world.
