This is a unique opportunity to delve deeper into Venetian history and the daily life of its people. Along with our esteemed Food Ambassador—a licensed local guide and culinary expert—guests will indulge in delectable Venetian street food and visit a hidden local bakery, frequented predominantly by the city's natives. Through food, anecdotes, and exploration of lesser-known city gems, the Food Ambassador will regale travellers with stories of everyday life and the rich tapestry of Venetian history.

The walking food tour is a gastronomic delight that includes a visit to the renowned Rialto market, especially celebrated for its fresh seafood. A noteworthy aspect for students is the "food challenge" which entails the sampling of a local dish, emblematic of the traditional frugal cuisine, followed by a dare to identify its ingredients. The tour offers three additional tastings of sublime traditional cuisine, culminating in a mouth-watering main dish, and concluding with a delectable serving of gelato.

Although not compulsory, our team of tour guides would deeply appreciate gratuities and tips as a display of gratitude for the exceptional service they provide.

Pick up and drop off at your hotel is not included as we meet at a fixed location, the precise location of our rendezvous will be communicated via email a few days prior to the tour. Rest assured, you will receive all necessary information in due course.

Sadly, we have to notify you that our tour is not suitable or accessible to wheelchair users, pregnant travellers, or strollers due to the challenging terrain at the venues we visit.

Regrettably, we must inform you that our tour is not recommended for individuals with heart conditions or bad back as the venues we visit present challenging terrains. We do not wish to risk the safety and well-being of our guests and suggest alternate activities for those who unfortunately cannot join us.

Please note that the price of this tour does not include meals. However, we would be delighted to suggest some local eateries for you to explore during your visit.

• Your tour can be conducted in any of the following languages: English or Italian

• The tour lasts approximately 3 hours starting at 12pm
