What you'll do
Experience the enchanting Loire Valley wine region with a small-group tour of 3 iconic castles and wine-tasting at a local family-run vineyard. The day starts with hotel pick-up from Paris at 7.30 AM (or on location at the Opera Garnier steps) visiting Châteaux Chambord, Châteaux Royal d'Amboise and Châteaux de Chenonceau. Entrance fees to the castles are included within the price, although audioguides can also be purchased on the day. Lunchtime is spent within Amboise City where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants available.

- 6Château Chambord: Explore the grandeur of Chateau Chambord, built by Francis I during the French Renaissance. Marvel at its architectural marvels, including the unique double-spiral staircase
- 7Château Royal d'Amboise: Learn all about the historic residence of King Charles VIII including an education into the history ofarchitectural transition from Gothic to Renaissance
- 8Château de Chenonceau: Discover the "ladies’ castle", named as such due to its famous background of feminine history, during your visit discover the stunning Renaissance-style gardens
- 9Drop-off: The return journey takes between 3 and 3.5 hours, returning to your hotel or the Opera Garnier Steps (depending on option chosen at point of booking)
