    Your local host will meet you at Beyoğlu district. Your gourmet promenade will start from the traditional circular seeded bread and cheese. Near that place, you will learn about the Turkish pickling tradition and be surprised by how much food you can pickle. After the first bite, you will continue wandering along alleys of Beyoğlu district, explore historical sights and hidden gems of it.

    You will visit the oldest Turkish hammam, and then take a bite of Açık Pide, known as the Turkish version of pizza. Near the Madame Tussauds Istanbul Wax Museum, you will sample the classic Lokum, a Turkish delight, that known in the world since the 15th century.

    Unwind with a cup of Raki, a traditional ancient beverage made of grapes, plums, or figs, and enjoy the elegant Parisian-style architecture of the Cicek Pasaji. After it, you will head to an old fish market, where friendly locals will tell you the history behind such traditional dishes as Midye Dolma, stuffed mussels with aromatic rice and herbs.

    Near the Doğançay Museum, the first modern art museum in Turkey you will try the best Adana Dürüm in Istanbul. And the cherry on top, you will go to an old traditional sweet shop where you will savor Baklava, a sweet dish made of layers of phyllo pastry filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with honey.
