What you'll do
The Food Safari covers some hot spot in Colombo, as well as super-authentic local proven favorite food stops along the way. We guarantee guests will experience some of the best local cuisine this beautiful city has to offer. as guests will be taken to some very local street food destinations. We can accommodate anyone and everyone on this tour as we have many options (vegetarian and non-spicy included).
Itinerary
- 1Pick up from Colombo hotel at approximately 4pm
- 2Starting Hindu Kovil thereafter head to the good market (open on Saturdays) for some jack fruit cutlets, before visiting the coffee and spices market on Old Moore Street (open on weekdays.) Speed down the streets of 2nd Cross and Main before stopping at Sadew Juice Bar for a seasonal juice. Drive on to Galle Face Green for a unique tea tasting experience before stopping for a local favourite, Kottu Rotti. Then its onwards to Taste of Asia for another local dish, hoppers before the main attraction, an array of local street food at Hulfsdorp Street.
- 3Finish with curd and treacle on the way back to hotel
- 4Drop off at Hotel at approximately 9 pm
