What you’ll do

Discover the beautiful merlot wines of Saint-Emilion with a small-group morning tour from Bordeaux in one of the most famous wine appellations in the region. Starting at 9 AM from the Tourist Office of Bordeaux, this 4 hour trip is just as much a cultural tour as it is about the wine-tasting. Visit a beautiful château and farm for a guided tour and tasting of growth-classified wines paired with a platter of dried sausage, local cheese and dark chocolate. During your time in the old and charming village of Saint Emilion, there's a city tour included of the UNESCO World heritage Site recognised for its historical and cultural landscape.

St Emilion Walking Tour: Engage on an informative tour with a local guide as you take a stroll through the picturesque village and surrounding area, uncovering it's past and why it's been enlisted as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Wine Tour and Tasting Session: Visit a wine farm recognised for its winery growth classification, where you will be given a tour of the grounds and vineyards complete with tasting session served with regional produce.

Drop-off: The tour concludes with drop-off back at the tourist office.

The tour was great from start to finish. Our tour guide "Genevieve" was very knowledgeable in every aspect. She knew everything about the history of the area. She even gave us tips on great places for dinner that night. Looking forward to comeback and take another tour

Had a great afternoon with Regis as our guide, he was full of knowledge and very helpful, showed us around St Emilion and took us on a detour to see the horses. Would definitely recommend the tour.

We had an excellent tour guide in Melanie - she explained everyting to us in excellent English (the rest of the party was French). She also set a nice tone for the tour with lots of information and some lovely anecdotes - which kept the whole party interested throughout The chateau visit was very informative and interesting and St Emilion itself is beautiful - although beware if you're not good on your feet as it's a difficult walk on some of the cobbled streets. We would highly recommend this tour - the whole morning was lovely!

Lovely visit to a couple of wineries in Saint Emilion Our guide Kaio was delightful. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. Made a cold wet day a very enjoyable experience.

This was an amazing small group tour with a walk around St. Emilion and wine and facility tours at 2 chateaux. Our guide Corole was friendly and knowledgeable and made the tour very special.
