What you'll do

Learn all about New York’s LGBTQ history—and discover some of the city’s most important queer civil rights and historic sights—on this small-group walking tour. In the afternoon, meet your guide right in Greenwich Village and set off on foot. You’ll see highlights like the Stonewall National Monument and New York AIDS Memorial, and will learn the stories behind the landmarks. You’ll also stop for a range of bites and snacks as you go.

    See the Church where Marcia P. (Pay its No Mind!) Johnson's, trans icon and activist had her funeral services and the spot where PFLAG, Parents and Friends of Lesbians and gays

    We stop at this somber spot to remember the over 100,000 NYC citizens that died in the AIDS Epidemic during the late 1980's and 1990's

    See the former site of the NYC Women's House of Detention, site of Lesbian Activism during the Stonewall Uprising and Riots

    See Greenwich Village's Christopher Street, the Main Street of Gay New York in the 1970's home to former bars and boutiques and shops.

    See The Stonewall National Monument located in Christopher Park located across the street from the famous Stonewall Inn, the location of The 1959 Stonewall Riots, the birthplace of the LGBTQ Civil Rights movement.
