Highlights

Aquitaine boasts of being one of France's main oyster producers. The Ile d'Oleron's oysters carry the "L'indication geographic protegee" designation, signifying their exceptional quality. Additionally, oyster spat from nearby Bassin d'Arcachon previously populated most of the country's oyster farms - although the Bassin may have reduced production, the oysters it yields remain of incomparable quality.

Do indulge in a visit to the ostréiculture cabins and partake in an exquisite platter of locally sourced oysters, shrimp, and pâté, paired impeccably with the region's finest wines. A culinary experience that will tantalize the taste buds of any seafood connoisseur!
