Itinerary

- 5Pick-up Option 1: Reims, at 9:00am in front of the tourist office of Reims centre train station. If you arrive by train, when you get off the train, go to the Reims Centre exit.
- 6Pick-up Option 2: Epernay, at 9:35am at the intersection of Avenue de Champagne and Rue Jean Chandon Moët. Pass by the famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, where several prestigious Champagne Houses are located.
- 7Pick-up Option 3: Mareuil-sur-Ay, at 9:45am at Le Clos Corbier, 5 Boulevard Nicolas François Billecart, 51160 Mareuil-sur-Ay
- 8After a drive deep in the Champagne countryside to a typical Champagne House, Le Clos Corbier, your bikes will be ready for you to ride.
- 9Your e-bike will allow you to explore some of Champagne’s most remote locations. You will certainly deserve your champagne glasses having cycled through Premier and Grand Cru villages and fully experiencing the complexity of our terroir.
- 10Enjoy breathtaking views on the UNESCO world’s heritage vines of Champagne. You will then discover the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of Champagne.
- 11Finish your time in Hautvillers with a guided visit of the church where the famous monk Dom Pérignon is buried.
- 12Experience a cycle down the Marne canal to make your way back to Le Clos Corbier. Visit the cellars and taste different champagnes from the family domaine, where you will see and be taught about the champagne making process. Then immerse yourself into the French lifestyle with a traditional lunch, which consists of homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of champagnes : cheese puffs, paté en croute, quiche, lentils, cheeses, Reims pink biscuit (the lunch can be adapted to allergies or specific diets).
- 13After a day full of experiences and precious memories, your guide will drop you off at 3.00pm (from Mareuil-sur-Ay), at 3.15pm ( from Epernay) and at 4.00pm (from Reims).

- 15FYI - Please note that electric bikes are heavier than regular bikes, as a consequence it is required to be comfortable with cycling.

Notes
Although solo travellers can book, please note a minimum of 2 people are required for the tour to go ahead. In the event the tour does not reach the minimum number of participants the booking may be subject to change.
Please note that down the cellars the average temperature is 10°C, so do not forget to bring a jacket along.
Animals are not allowed in shared tours for the comfort of all passengers.
Careful, the electric bikes are heavier than regular bikes, as a consequence it is required to be comfortable with cycling.
If the bike tour is affected by weather (rain, black ice…), the tour will be adjusted accordingly: the schedule of the tour can be modified or the tour can be done by minivan instead of bikes.
Adjust your clothing for the bike ride, regarding the weather (gloves and scarves for coldest days ; solar cream and sun glasses in summer).
HELMETS AND BICYCLE SAFETY: Customer shall wear approved protective headgear at all times while using the equipment, and shall ensure that all passengers wear appropriately-sized and approved protective headgear at all times while using the equipment. Helmets are offered and recommended as part of this Rental Agreement. Customers who decline to rent and wear helmets have done so at their own will and their own peril.
