Our tour starts with two typical dishes from La Spezia: Sgabei - small fried pancake made from bread dough; and Mesciua - chickpea, beans and wheat grains soup.

A must try if you are in La Spezia: Pasta with walnuts sauce and Testaroli or panigacci, a sort of pancake, boiled and enriched with pesto, oil, parmisan cheese and mushroms sauce (testaroli), alternatively baked, served with cheese and cured meat (panigacci)

Directly by local fishermen you will try Fried Calamari and Anchovies and after that the traditional farinata,a delicious chickpea pancake cooked in a wood oven.
