What you'll do
The tour’s first stop is the botanical garden of Chania. In the herbal garden of the park, you will discover the secrets of the herbs and all their benefits. You will be encouraged to try and smell the plants with your private wine guide who will use this opportunity to enrich your olfactive memory and wine tasting skills. After a magical wandering among the plants and trees, it’s now time for you to enjoy a quality label Cretan Cuisine meal prepared with ingredients coming from the vegetable garden as well as herbs and fruit coming from the park. The lunch will be accompanied by a bottle of wine from Crete. With the aromas and tastes of herbs still in your minds, it is now time to discover their influence in the wine. The next stop is one of the most famous wineries of Chania region where you will enjoy a commented wine tasting of 5 different labels. After the guided tour of the facilities, your guide will present to you each wine and help you analyze the aromas and flavours.

Nested right between the mountains, this hidden gem is a true paradise where you can discover the plants from 3 different climate zones. Created after the devastating fire of 2003, the gardens offer its visitors the unique opportunity to learn about fruit-bearing trees, herbs, spices, medicinal and decorative plants from all over the world, and witness the animals in their natural habitat.

Explore the winery's delicious vintages from indigenous and international grapes organically grown in the Manousakis vineyards.
