Nestled amidst the Algarve's orange groves and olive orchards, where the Monchique mountains kiss the Atlantic ocean, lies Morgado do Quintão - a family-owned vineyard estate. Proudly showcasing our award-winning wines that celebrate ancient grape varietals and heritage winemaking techniques, we present Algarve's truest character.

In a mere four years, we seized an opportunity and answered the call of the old vineyards to increase our production from 2,000 to 20,000 bottles per year. Our vilification process is now deeply rooted in our desire to showcase the Algarve region's terroir and distinguish it by producing some of the area's most prized wines.

Beyond the vines, olive groves, and almond orchards here amongst the estate, we also open up our gates to people from around the world to stay in our old whitewashed vineyard cottages.

We invite you to meet at our farmers’ table and taste our harvest so that they may experience our story first hand and help to contribute to our future, so that we may bring a different spotlight back to the Algarve, protect the heritage of the estate and indeed the region so that each may thrive for many more generations to come.

What's not included

Sadly, we have to notify you that our tour is not suitable or accessible to wheelchair users or strollers due to the challenging terrain at the venues we visit.

Although not compulsory, our team of tour guides would deeply appreciate gratuities and tips as a display of gratitude for the exceptional service they provide.

We do not provide infant seats, and for safety reasons, children must not be seated on an adult's lap.

No matter what the weather, our tour runs rain or shine all year round (Monday to Friday only).

The tour is in English.

If you're under the age of 18, unfortunately, you cannot consume alcohol. However, there are plenty of delicious non-alcoholic options available.

Additional orders placed during the tour must be paid for by the individual who orders them. If unsure, the tour guide will be happy to assist.

Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended as there is some walking involved during your tour.

This is a private tour and requires a minimum of two people. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough bookings to meet requirements In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
