What you'll do
At a prearranged meeting point in Tromso city center, board a coach destined for the reindeer camp—a traditional homestead located in Tromso’s frozen wilderness. On arrival, greet your guide and enjoy a feeding session with a herd of around 300 reindeer. After getting acquainted with the gentle creatures, board a sleigh for an exciting ride: as reindeer pull your sleigh over the snow, admire the frozen landscapes and snow-dusted flora of the region. Next, make yourself comfortable in a lavuu; warm up with steaming coffee and listen to stories derived from ancient Sami culture. In the comfort of the tent, enjoy a fulfilling lunch of bidos (flavorsome Sami soup) and sweet cake as you witness the performance of a joik (Sami folk song). When your tour concludes, return to central Tromso in a climate-controlled coach.

Itinerary
- 1After meeting in front of the Radisson Blu Hotel take the bus for a 25-minute drive by the nice coast of Tromsø to arrive at the destination, the Sami camp, where the reindeer and the rest of our guides will be waiting for you.

Enjoy a 10-15 minute sleigh ride as the reindeer guide you around the valley and along the coast. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to feed 300 of these magnificent animals before entering the gamme for a hot traditional meal cooked over the fire. Finish the day by gathering around the fire to listen to Sami history, stories and joiking (songs).

Drive back to the city centre. The bus will stop at the same place where you met our guides at the beginning of the tour.
