What you'll do
During our experience, we will tell you the history of the Champagne region and the work of the vine according to the seasons. Go back in time while enjoying the comfort of our vintage vehicle: a Renault Estafette Alouette dating from the 60s / 80s. Stop at the Abbey Church of Hautvillers (Village of Dom Pérignon). Cellar visit of a winegrower & 3 tastings. Stops with a view of the vineyard. The opportunity for you to photograph magnificent landscapes. Picnic among the vines at the winemaker's place: charcuterie, cheese, bread, dessert with pink biscuits and Champagne or Lunch at a restaurant depending on the season. Cellar visit of a second winegrower & 3 tastings. Initiation to the sabrage of the Champagne bottle.
Itinerary
- 1For a day, My Vintage Tour Company will take you to discover the Champagne vineyards, its historic sites, two winegrowers, and their cellars. The day will be punctuated by several stops with breathtaking views of the Champagne vineyards. For lunch, you can picnic in the heart of the vineyard or enjoy a meal concocted by a restaurateur, depending on the season. You will discover the sabrage of the bottle of Champagne.

Discover the story of the village of Aÿ-Champagne, historical place of the Champagne region.

Discover one of the most famous villages of the region: Hautvillers, the village of Dom Perignon. During this tour, we will stop at the church of the Abbaye Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers to see the grave of Dom Perignon and learn more about his story.

Cellar visit of a family winemaker, explanation of the Champagne making-process & 3 tastings.
Enjoy a Picnic in the middle of the vines (only from May to September)

We will visit a small family Champagne producer in the village of Oger. You will discover the Champagne making-process and secrets of this incredible wine.
You will finish the visit with a Champagne tastings of 3 glasses.

You will learn the art of Sabrage the Champagne bottle and enjoy a glass of Champagne in the middle of the vineyard.
